Occupational therapists work with children to target problem areas through playful interactions, grading the activities so that the child can succeed. Treatment is geared toward increase in social participation, self-regulation and motor skilled acquisition.

The Gold River Children Who Witness Abuse program provides individual and group counseling services for children between the ages of 3 and 8 living in the Gold River area who have witnessed abuse, threats or violence in the home.
The Métis Early Years program was developed by the Métis Nation British Columbia for Métis families with children birth to 8 years. The goal of the program is to connect Métis families to their community and culture while linking them to early years programs and services.more
